Art Exhibition
On Monday ( September 6, 2021), Sharda Public School held an Art Exhibition in the school auditorium.
The event was inaugurated by the Principal, followed by a number of performances by the students.
Students showcased their dancing skills with great enthusiasm and zeal – in Pahaddi dance, Vandana and Chholiya dance, to name a few.
The Chief Guest of the program was Mr. Shantanu Mukherjee, who addressed the gathering on Art and its effect on the human mind and life.
A 1976-batch IPS Officer, Mr Mukherjee had served as Mauritius National Security Advisor.
After an interesting interaction with students, the Chief Guest, along with his honorable wife Mrs Sumita Mukherjee, appreciated the efforts of the artists and their involvement in the art activities, encouraging them to pursue the artistic expression.
Painting styles and techniques that varied from portraits to acrylic and abstract painting to dot mandala painting were greatly appreciated by all the guests who attended the exhibition.
