
Sharda Public School Celebrates Annual Function with Grand Cultural Fest
Almora: Sharda Public School recently hosted a vibrant two-day annual function under the theme “Zenith”, showcasing the creative talents of its young students. On the second day of the event, the school premises came alive with a series of colourful cultural performances that left the audience spellbound.
The celebration began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guests, including senior artist Ajay Bori, senior performer Manmohan Chaudhary, and special guests like Rajo Singh Bisht, Dr. Bhawna Sati, and Colonel Manoj Kandpal. The dignitaries praised the school’s efforts in nurturing artistic talent and encouraged the students to continue exploring their creativity.
Children performed a variety of acts, including patriotic songs, classical dances like Bharatnatyam, and folk dances from Rajasthan, Punjab, and the hills. Notable performances included “Dance of Arabian Nights” and dramatic plays, reflecting both cultural richness and theatrical finesse.
